I saw The Hangover in a theatre. I laughed. It was funny. Then I promptly forgot about it. It didn't stick with me. I could only remember the parts I didn't like: feeding the tiger and any part with the Asian guy.
Then everyone starts to quote it. Oh my God. 'Yeah I saw it.' 'It was funny at parts.' 'No, I don't remember that.' 'No I don't remember that either.' 'Yes! I really did see it!'
I wasn't planning on ever seeing it again. I bought it for my brother for Christmas, but that was all the contact I had with The Hangover on DVD.
Then some friends came over on New Year's Eve and we watched it.
Ten things I had forgotten about The Hangover:
1. Bradley Cooper = fine. Remember him on Alias?
2. Ed Helms is funny when out of The Office.
3. Jeffrey Tambor needed to have a few more scenes.
4. "Rah-tard."
5. How cute Heather Graham is. Jade the stripper whose son's name is not Carlos.
6. "That's classic."
7. Ken Jeong is less annoying after having gotten use to him on Community.
8. Stu's Song.
9. The wedding singer.
10. Zach Galifianakis has funny one-liners. His character takes some acclimating... I definitely needed a second viewing.
